GVA Gallery Show Schedule 2025

March – Red

Work that predominately includes the color red.  Open to GVA members only. Any medium. Not juried. One (1) entry per person.

Work must be dry and ready to hang by wire or sawtooth hardware or to stand independently if 3D. All work must be original and not a reproduction of original art.

A form must be filled out so title cards can be printed for each piece. 15% commission to GVA on all works sold.

Intake:  Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 2 – 6 pm

Pickup:  Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 2 – 6 pm

 April – Photo

Open to GVA Photo Group Members only.  Work must be dry and ready to hang by wire or sawtooth hardware.  A form must be filled out so title cards can be printed for each piece. 15% commission to GVA on all works sold.

Intake:  Tuesday, March 25, 2024 from 2 – 6 pm

Pickup:  Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 2 -6 pm

Artist Reception:  Sunday April 6 from 2 – 4 pm

May – 3D and West Michigan Potters Guild

Work that is 3 dimensional.  Open to GVA and West Michigan Potters Guild Members only.  Any medium.  Not juried.  Two (2) entries per person. 

Work must be hangeable or able to stand independently.  All work must be original and not a reproduction. A form must be filled out so title cards can be printed for each piece.  15% commission to GVA on all works sold

Intake:  Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 2 – 6 pm

Pickup:  Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 2 – 6 pm

June – Member Shows/Postcard

Open month for member shows.  Check with the Gallery Committee chaired by Jim Johnson (mailto:johnsontheartist@hotmail.com) if you want to show your work during this month.

Postcard Show – All images to be 4” x 6” and able to be attached to a wall with putty.  Drop off Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 2 – 6 pm or Friday, May 30 from 10 am to 1 pm or Monday, June 2, from 10 am to noon.  Your postcards are considered a donation to GVA and will not be available to pick-up.

July – Abstract

Nonrepresentational, nonrealistic, conceptual, nonpictorial or symbolic art.  Open to GVA members only. Any medium. Not juried. One (1) entry per person.

Once again, we invite artists who have painted with Plein Air Artists of West Michigan to exhibit their work in our gallery.  Any medium. Not juried. Three (3) entries per person. Work must be dry and ready to hang by wire or sawtooth hardware or to stand independently if 3D. All work must be original and not a reproduction of original art.

A form must be filled out so title cards can be printed for each piece. 15% commission to GVA on all works sold.
