Marty Klar discovered some drawing and painting talent in 2012 after retiring from a 35-year career in advertising as a Copywriter and Creative Director. He joined his wife as a proud member of Grand Valley Artists soon after. In the 1960’s with his Father’s Rolleicord in hand he began his love for photography. Lately, digital portraits have become his passion preceded by graphite drawings, oil painting and an occasional watercolor. Weather permitting Marty thrashes around golf courses. While at home he yells at all the absolutely inane TV commercials polluting the air waves and cable channels that NEVER would have been approved by him during his career.
