ANN HULCE NICHOLSON was always able to see the world from an artist's point of view: the colors, the composition, as well as the beauty in the smallest details that others just passed by. She was born and raised in Michigan, yet she spent her career in New York City. While primarily a self-taught watercolorist, Ann has honed her skills with Denis Ponsot as well as numerous watercolor artists online, some of whom are known internationally as preeminent in the field. She learns something new every day and is inspired every day. Ann is a proud member of Grand Valley Artists (GVA), a great group of talented and supportive artists. She now splits her time between studios in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Brooklyn, New York.
